We met at The Porch through Watermark Church in Dallas, TX and went on our first date shortly thereafter. The date lasted 5 hours because we were having so much fun. After I got home, I told Mya, my best friend, I was going to marry this man. Caeden met my family the next day at our Super Bowl party, and I met his a few weeks later. Once we met each other's families and friends and had their approval, our lives took off from there. Caeden moved to Tyler, TX for fire academy in August 2023. We celebrated our 6 months together at a local Mexican restaurant in Tyler, TX, called Villa Montez, where Caeden gave me a promise ring. We lived with the distance for a few short months before my schooling path changed. I moved to Tyler for nursing school in January 2024 and Caeden proposed a month later at Villa Montez on our one year anniversary. Since then, we have gotten a puppy, named Olana after our wedding venue!
